I’ve always been drawn to understanding people and the stories behind what they are experiencing. Over the years, working as both a school counselor and therapist has reinforced something I believe deeply: people make sense in context.
The challenges we face are often connected to our relationships, experiences, environments, and the expectations placed on us. Therapy creates an opportunity to step back, understand those influences more clearly, and identify practical ways to move forward.
I believe therapy should feel both supportive and useful. My approach is warm, honest, collaborative, and focused on helping people create meaningful change in their everyday lives.
What Shapes My Work
Mama Bird Philosophy
Support, safety, and growth.
Just as mama birds don’t remove every obstacle, I believe growth happens when people feel supported, understood, and empowered to navigate challenges in their own way.
People Make Sense in Context
Looking beyond symptoms.
Our experiences are shaped by relationships, environments, responsibilities, and life experiences. Therapy helps us understand the bigger picture and how it influences the present.
School Counseling Background
Over a decade supporting children and families.
My experience as a school counselor continues to shape my work, helping me understand the unique challenges children, teens, parents, and educators face.
Practical & Collaborative
Therapy that feels useful.
Insight is important, but so is having tools that work in everyday life. Together, we’ll identify meaningful goals and practical strategies for moving forward.
Let's Get Started
