Hi! I'm Rachael.

Licensed Professional Counselor

My work is grounded in an Adlerian framework, which means I look at people within the context of their relationships, life experiences, and the human need for belonging and connection.

I believe therapy should be a safe, supportive space where individuals and families can slow things down, explore challenges, and begin to heal. My approach is centered on understanding each person’s unique needs while blending compassion with practical, evidence-based strategies that clients can use in everyday life.

With children and teens, I integrate cognitive behavioral (CBT) and dialectical behavioral (DBT) strategies to help build emotional awareness, coping skills, and confidence. Together we work on understanding thoughts, managing big emotions, and developing tools that can be used at home, at school, and in relationships.

I also incorporate narrative and strengths-based approaches, helping individuals and families make sense of their story, recognize resilience, and build on what is already working. Because emotional patterns are often shaped by past experiences, I approach this work through a trauma-informed lens that supports healing, safety, and lasting change.

As a mom, I also understand the complexity of family life. That perspective shapes the way I support parents and families, meeting people where they are and working together to create meaningful, sustainable change.
